Retention Period
Data is processed and stored for the time required by the purposes for which it was collected. Therefore:
- Personal Data collected for purposes related to the execution of a contract between the Owner and the User will be retained until the execution of such contract is complete.
- Personal Data collected for purposes related to the legitimate interest of the Owner will be retained until such interest is satisfied. Magica tracks certain user actions regarding the graphical interface, usage methods and frequency of use of the application. To retrieve this data, the Google Firebase service is used. The data obtained through Google appears to Dimitri Giani in anonymous form. In addition to the owner, in some cases, categories of those responsible involved in the organization of the application (administrative, commercial, marketing, legal staff, system administrators) or external subjects (such as third-party technical service providers, postal carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) may have access to such data, also named, if necessary, Data Processors by the Owner. The updated list of Processors may always be requested from the Data Controller.
This data is archived on third-party servers, information about which may be provided upon request. Data will be archived for as long as necessary for the application to function.
Application Privacy Policy
Data Used Within the Application
The application processes the following device data:
- GPS Location
- Movement recognized by the operating system
With this data, the application processes estimates of the type of movement and, together with the GPS location, creates statistics visible to the user. This data is recorded within the application and only the user has access to it. This data may be sent to the user’s iCloud account (if active), for which it is the property of and responsibility of Apple Inc.
Voice Commands
The Voice Commands feature allows you to interact with the app via voice to record refueling, maintenance, and request information about vehicle data.
Data collected and processing:
- The voice audio recording is sent to the OpenAI Whisper service for transcription into text. The audio is not stored on our servers and is deleted immediately after transcription.
- The transcribed text is sent to the Anthropic Claude service for command interpretation. No identifying information about the user is transmitted to these services.
- For the purpose of improving the service and technical monitoring, we temporarily retain the transcribed text and the artificial intelligence response in our logs for a maximum period of 30 days, after which such data is automatically and irreversibly anonymized. After anonymization, only aggregated technical metrics (processing times, command type, outcome) are retained, which do not allow any way to trace the user’s identity.

Legal basis: The processing is based on the user’s consent, expressed through the voluntary use of the Voice Commands feature. The user can choose at any time not to use this feature without any limitation of the app’s other features.

The application does not collect any sensitive user data. The application has Google Firebase framework installed for collecting usage statistics data and monitoring problems.
The application uses the following frameworks:
- Firebase Messaging (for managing push notifications)
- Firebase Crashlytics (for managing app issues)
The application does not use IDFA code (ID for Advertisers).
